It's a definitely not your average Starbucks wishing the grass is greener which will bring out the green in Starbucks. Nevertheless, take a walk there from Toyama station, it's a nice little walk plus the park is nice. It was full house except for the outside patio tables and it got really crowded when a tour group rolled in. I have to apologise to the staff, I didn't know where the flush button was at the toilet. The men's toilet was not accessible so if you are reading this, I am sorry about not able to flush as I thought it's an automatic sensor.

Great location with a nice river view, place was packed but chilling out in the open with a cup of hot coffee was great, the surrounding location is quiet and serene. Probably the best Starbucks location that I had visited so far.

Excellent service. Staff are friendly and the view is just perfect in all seasons. Come to Toyama, you should visit this shop.

beautiful place. not crowded but almost full house. it would be best during sakura blossom time but definitely would be very crowded. certainly a must-visit spot in toyama city. suggested to take tram/loop bus/cycle there.

Regular Starbucks to me. It indeed is crowded with small space. There is no special character to this Starbucks but the view of the lake and bridge in the park. I won't say this is worth a visit but if you stop by during enjoying the park, then it is okay.

Pros: Good location, full canal view from inside and outsideCons: over-crowded, small, not enough seating

The voted most beautiful Starbucks is seated inside of Toyamaken Fuganungakansui Park. It’s absolutely a nice place to have afternoon tea.The interior doesn’t stand out from other Starbucks, yet if you got a chance to sit in the balcony you’ll find out the reason why this place be voted as most beautiful Starbucks.Let my photos explain, this place truly worth a visit!

A Starbucks located in a beautiful place. It is very crowded inside, but actually it is much nicer sitting outside on the grass. Luckily a band is practicing, so we enjoyed free concert too :)

Not sure what the hype is about. This is a Starbucks (albeit noticeably more crowded than other ones)

Exceptional location and wonderful staff.

Not a big branch, but it's a cozy place for a good breakfast

A really beautiful Starbucks cafe. Nice views and is totally worth a visit. Was able to get a seat even when arrived on a busy crowded night. Perhaps I was lucky and the crowd of people was amazingly nice.

easily the most beautiful Starbucks in the world during winter

One of the best Starbucks coffee shop in Japan. Located in a nice place and the coffee taste is delicious.

I hate to be the wet blanket but it is really just a Starbucks. If you are in a rush there are much better places to go besides this 'most beautiful Starbucks in Japan'. In my opinion it is overrated. Come here if you have an extra day to burn but not if you already on a squeezed out itinerary.

Nice place to coffe time

Very nice view if you are lucky enough to get a window seat. Inside it's not too different from a regular Starbucks.

Good place to visit for a break and enjoy with the surrounding. This also becomes a scenic tourist spot as well. We enjoyed the stay even it was raining outside. It is not too far by walking from the Toyama train station.
Lily Liu
It is lovely sitting outside and having a coffee

Coffee was okay, we were told this was most beautiful Starbucks and it is not. The most beautiful is in Milan Italy!

Quiet and nice place to chill out. Sit outdoor to enjoy the nice ambience. It is indeed one of the most beautiful starbucks in japan. Food is standard starbucks fare with some Japanese twist like Macha Scone.

A friend took me there a few months ago...was told this Starbucks is rated to have the best location n prettiest in the world!! We got a lucky n got the closest parking spot, but all the outdoor seats were taken. Was told there s a lineup in the morning at opening. Great surrounding area for a leisurely relaxing stroll as well.

cashier is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful and comfortable place to just chill and have a glass of starbucks or two. it is said to be the most beautiful starbucks, and I can see why.

One of the nicest Starbucks in the world I suppose? The park is nice; so take your order to go to enjoy the surroundings. The Starbucks itself is standard Japanese : the coffee is horrible but nobody care because nobody drinks coffee here: consider the deserts and drinks that are ok Cheesecake was decent for example.

Very relaxing SBux with a chill view. Spent a morning here soaking up the sun.

My first time visit at night, feeling the fresh breeze puffed across the pond, blew on my face .Bridge, lumenated lights, trees and the rare visitors make together the fantastic night view so peaceful and joyful. It's abslutely beautiful but is a little bit to much to honor it " the most beautiful Starbucks in the world".

Nice view and excellent open view. Have indoor and outdoor seats. A good place for relaxing

Nice to chill. It’s Starbucks standard fare with a relaxing atmosphere and view of the small lake, water feature and Bridge. Not too busy in the middle of the afternoon, but worthwhile dropping by if you are near and need a coffee and a sit down. Friendly staff and overall good experience.

Great view ... Would be better if there is snow .....

It is “the most beautiful Starbucks in the world†perched in a park on a river. Even if coffee isn’t your thing...the location, view, and the sunset is the perfect way to end your day!

very beautiful starbucks.

This Starbucks outlet is said to be the world most beautiful. The shop is quite small with loads of people here. It's beautiful in both day and night time. For night time you can see the bridge with light-up.

They said it’s the most beautiful Starbucks in Japan? My friend and I were speechless. We really don’t know how is the most beautiful Starbucks. Even Kyoto’s one is more sentimental. The menu is the same as anywhere else. I don’t recommend you to come down if you have a full schedule. I rather spend time with the Alphine Route, go Takayama or soak in osen.
